Reason for putting Joey up for adoption:
As much as it pains us to even think about parting ways with our lovely Joey, we are unable to give him the attention he deserves due to hectic nature of my new job. When we got Joey, I was working for a European startup remotely (and it seemed like a stable long-term position at that time). So it was easier to take care of Joey as I was always working from home. But due to the recent unexpected effects of Russia-Ukraine war, the startup lost its funding and I have now had to switch to a new job which is very demanding and requires me to be in office (or travelling) for most part.
